SlantRange 4P and 4P+ Multispectral Sensors

These sensors measure light from six bands of the light spectrum. The spectral bands measured include RGB imaging plus red, green, red edge, and near-infrared (NIR). Images from the red edge light range of the spectrum allow one to determine the early onset of crop disease and crop stress and are used for both NDVI and NDRE reports. Light calibration aids in the ability to achieve highly accurate data collection across repeated flight missions. The features of these sensors are:

  • The 4P Sensor System has high-resolution images. It can collect data from two more bands of light from the spectrum than the 3P sensor.
  • The 4P+ sensor is enabled with RTK and uses GPS and IMU for precise location positioning contributing to its inertial navigation capabilities. Both are able to gather information with a narrow overlap of 20% overlap.
  • These sensors work with SlantRange’s, SlantView, software as well as other agricultural analytic platforms.
  • Drones carrying SlantRange sensors return to the exact spot for later flights so these future aerial surveys will collect images from the very same angle as the previous flights.

Pricing for the 4P+ sensor: $5,750 (w/o DJI SkyPort) $6,950 (w/ DJI SkyPort) – As of 21 Nov. 2022
