SenseFly eBee X
The eBee X is a lightweight fixed wing drone. It provides accurate results (down to 1.5 cm/.06 in) using the built-in, on-demand RTK/PPK. As with other drones using RTK and PPK, it is not necessary to set ground control points (GCP) to achieve the desired precision in the mapping survey.
The eBee X is compatible with several cameras that are interchangeable on the drone so you can accomplish many types of projects, such as: Collecting aerial RGB images, thermal or multispectral images.
The eBee X flies autonomously and can cover large areas in a single flight. It can fly up to 90 minutes (requires an endurance battery, allowing it to cover up to 1,235 acres (500 hectares)) while flying at 400 ft (120 meters).
This drone is compatible with most of the commonly used base stations. Its flight planning app, eMotion has mission planning flight modes for a variety of automated flight mapping tasks. The software has a 3D environment which helps you in creating consistent flights that are more accurate, and safer in its flight pattern.
SenseFly eBee’s are also compatible with the Parrot Sequoia+ multispectral sensor. It is the smallest and lightest multispectral sensor on the market. It captures images across four spectral bands (visible/nonvisible). It also captures RGB imagery as well. It is considered to be a competitive alternative to MicaSense’s RedEdge-MX.
