SWaP is an acronym for size, weight and power. This concept is very important to developing new products, devices, platforms, etc. It is a main goal in the development for projects addressing modes of conveyance. One is always looking to make it smaller, consume the smallest amount of available resources as possible, and improve upon its general utility. SWaP designs are often used to strike the balance needed for finding the trade-offs between the desire to boost the performance of specific systems in a product while maintaining a solid integrity for its multifunctional architecture.
