Multispectral Sensors capture images all along the electromagnetic spectrum (the different light wavelengths along the spectrum). The some of the wavelengths included along the light spectrum are the visible  light range, Red, Green, Blue (RGB), and nonvisible wavelengths of near infrared (NIR), mid infrared (MIR), far infrared (FIR) and thermal infrared. Multispectral sensors usually measure and records images within the 3-15 bandwidths of the spectrum.
